DOCTORS AND PHARMACISTS - And How to Avoid Them!
Updated: Aug 22, 2022
I am a cosmic muffin when it comes to health.
I believe that your body craves vitamin uptake.
Not a burger and fries.
Not coffee and sugar.
Your body needs fuel...in the form of nutrition, in order to function properly and efficiently, and to avoid disease.
And since we do not get sufficient amounts of vitamins and minerals from the food we eat, I advocate for using vitamin pills all during the day, to answer your body's nutritional needs.
You take better care of your car than you do of your own human body.
My hope is that we start to realize, that every physical, and many mental and emotional problems are caused by vitamin deficiencies, not a need for pharmaceutical chemicals.
So very many of the ailments we suffer from on a regular basis, would likely be eliminated if we paid more attention to what our bodies are really craving... the building blocks to health and nutrition.
Not caffeine, cigarettes, sugar, or constant visits to the pharmacist.
I have heard all my life, to varying degrees, that vitamin supplements are unnecessary. And it is illegal for vitamin manufacturers to make claims that their pills will prevent or cure diseases or ailments.
Yet I am here today to swear to you that I would be dead without them.
And I am almost as sure, that the people that tell you that vitamin supplements are a waste of time, are probably paid by the medical lobbyist establishment, to deter you from taking your health into your own hands.
Whenever I have an ache, or a malfunction of some kind... whenever I have a clog, or an unpleasant reaction to my favorite bad behavior... whenever my mood or my thoughts threaten to cloud my demeanor... with almost no exception, I can adjust, readjust, tweak, repair and renew, my entire state of being by using vitamins wisely, and sparingly throughout the day.
When I am halfway through the day and I begin to peter out, as others will look to coffee and sugar, I take a second multi vitamin around 2 or 3 p.m. and it's a newly energizing day for me.
When I need to seem smarter than I am, I make sure I have all the appropriate brain-boosting nutrients a few hours before 'go' time.
My disdain for doctors is tangible, and I will try to refrain from disparaging them here. Because they can be useful.
But before I even think of making an appointment, I will try exercise, self-massage, deep breathing, dietary changes, carrot and beet juice, essential oils, garlic, vinegar, baking soda, hydrogen peroxide, even Vicks Vapo Rub, along with a mildly accelerated regimen of vitamins and nutrients.
If I'm still in pain after that, I will then concede, however briefly, to the medical profession.
I realize that there is a bit of work involved in directing one's own health care.
But it is work well worth your time.
Be sensitive to what your body is saying.
Think in terms of simple, natural remedies, and also prevention.
Don't wait until your sore throat becomes infected.... research simple sore throat remedies. I would gargle with diluted hydrogen peroxide. And make garlic tea.
Prevent what you can. Try to avoid chemicals and pharmaceuticals.
I recommend this book most highly:
Prescription for Nutritional Healing
A Practical A-to-Z Reference to Drug-Free Remedies Using Vitamins, Minerals, Herbs & Food
by Phyllis A. Balch CNC
This book is my second bible.
It is amazing, in part because it combines the best of age-old remedies with 21st century science.
I have used it, fixed minor issues, and saved hundreds of dollars, using information that most doctors will not even consider.
I realize that I don't know you at all.
But I care about you a great deal.
I know personal health is... well... personal.
But there's no way to escape it.... your good health is really up to you....
